LEISURE: The Mousetrap at Lighthouse, Poole

0

Agatha Christie’s mystery The Mousetrap in returning to Lighthouse, Poole for a five-night run in January 2020.

The longest running show of any kind in the history of theatre keeps audiences guessing who the murderer is in this group of strangers trapped in a Monkswell Manor by a snowstorm.

Each suspicious character reveals their deepest secrets from their past one by one, until that nerve-shredding moment the identity and motive are finally revealed.

The key to the continuing success of The Mousetrap lies in the shuddering suspense and a brilliantly intricate plot where murder waits around every corner. But remember to keep the secret!

The play opened at the Ambassadors Theatre in London on 25 November 1952, 67 years ago, and now it returns to Lighthouse, Poole’s centre for the arts for five nights starting on Tuesday 21 January 2020.

Tickets go on pre-sale online at 10am today, Friday 12 April, and on general sale at the box office at 10am on Tuesday 16 April.
