As of 7 April 2019 its 1a bus from Bournemouth will now take in Highcliffe and New Milton where it will stop at the railway station, town centre and Tesco.

Running on an hourly basis the service will operate from Monday’s to Saturday’s, it is aimed at shoppers but will also benefit residents of Highcliffe and New Milton to be able to visit Christchurch, Boscombe and Bournemouth.

The new route is part of the company’s summer changes that are being introduced from April 7, David Squire, managing director of Yellow Buses, said: “This extension is something we think will be popular on that route.

“There are many bus users we’ve identified who can benefit from this extension. People in Highcliffe can now visit Sainsbury’s and Stewart’s garden centre in Christchurch – or of course Tesco in New Milton. He added, “We also hope to encourage passengers from those areas to visit Bournemouth and Boscombe.

The changes are part of the Yellow Buses Summer schedules, details of the changes can be found on Yellow Buses’ website. www.yellowbuses.co.uk
