Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is calling for local business leaders, with an interest in becoming a member of its board, to get in touch.
They are particularly keen to hear from female business leaders, and people with protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010.
Dorset LEP acts as a strategic gateway to funding, and has secured over £240m to date, from Government and other sources, to deliver economic growth in the county. This is helping to fund a number of projects designed to transform the county through better transport, infrastructure, more housing, and more highly skilled jobs for all.
Dorset LEP’s ambition is to double the Dorset economy over the next 20 years, adding an estimated £17 billion and 30,000 jobs to the UK economy.
