The Mayor of Bournemouth has launched this years search for the local volunteer or organisation that has gone beyond the call of duty or who residents think should be rewarded or recognised for their special contribution to improving the lives of others.
The Mayor’s Volunteer of the Year Award recognises the selfless work of volunteers in Bournemouth. You can nominate a volunteer or an organisation by filling in a nomination form.
The Award has two categories:
- Volunteer of the Year
- Volunteer Group of the Year
The Award Winners in each category will receive the Cup and Winner’s Certificate. The Runners-Up will receive a Commendation Certificate. The Mayor of Bournemouth presents all the awards.
