Planning permission has been granted by the Borough of Poole, for a new nine-screen cinema complex and four adjacent restaurants.
The multiplex will be operated by Empire Cinemas, and will take over the former Argos store and adjoining units. One of its nine screens will be open-air on the rooftop, for an even more memorable movie-going experience.
This development will be the first of its kind in Poole town centre, and is part of the Dolphin Shopping Centre’s £26 million programme of investment with Legal & General. Work is expected to start later this year.
